On April 6, 2009, the NBA announced that Michael Jordan
and two other members of the “Dream Team” will be induced
into the Hall of Fame later in September. In honor of this great
achievement, Jordan Brand is planning to release a series
of sneaker packs to commemorate the games Michael
Jordan scored sixty points or more.
The Air Jordan 7 (VII) 60+ (Plus) DMP Pack was created to
pay tribute to the 64 points Jordan racked up playing against
the Orlando Magic on January 13, 1993. Jordan and the Bulls
gave the Magic everything they had, even taking the game to
overtime, but it just wasn’t enough to overcome a Magic team
lead by Scott Skiles, Shaquile O’Neal, and Chicago native,
Nick Anderson. The pack includes the “Black/Red” Jordan 7
that Jordan wore the night of the game, and a “White/Blue”
Air Jordan 7 which was inspired by the Orlando Magic team
colors.
The Air Jordan 7 60+ DMP Pack is slated to release on August
22nd for a retail price of $310.
